Welcome to the Website of the Seoul Foreign Correspondents’ Club (SFCC).
Since the declaration of martial law last December, Korean society has undergone rapid political and social changes. Amid this turmoil, the role of the press has been more important than ever. The Seoul Foreign Correspondents’ Club is committed to actively supporting foreign media reporters in accessing accurate information and facilitating in-depth reporting.
Through collaboration with government agencies, civil society, and businesses, the club strives to address the challenges faced by our members and to create a transparent and safe reporting environment. Furthermore, we are dedicated to upholding press freedom and independence, providing a strong foundation for foreign media journalists to fulfill their mission.
Changes in South Korea present both challenges and significant opportunities. The SFCC will keep up with the evolving news landscape and work closely with our members, providing unwavering support. We are here to help foreign media outlet journalists amplify their voices with sincerity and dedication.
I am committed to maintaining deep engagement with our members and listening carefully to their opinions. The SFCC will faithfully fulfill its role in strengthening the path for journalists who work in the foreign media in their pursuit of truth.
The doors of the Seoul Foreign Correspondents’ Club are always open. Please feel free to visit us anytime.
